Swineshead Pageant Flags Exhibition
Visit the Swineshead Pageant Flags Exhibition at Fydell House and explore a vibrant showcase of community creativity and heritage.
Celebrating 10 Years of Community Art
Created in collaboration with artist Ruth Pigott, local young people from Swineshead Youth Club, and students from Haven High School, these striking flags mark a special 10-year milestone. Each design was imagined by young people and carefully brought to life through textile craft.
Inspired by Local History and Legends
The flags reflect the rich medieval history of Swineshead village, including the 800th anniversary of King John’s final journey and the enduring legend of his lost treasure. This exhibition offers a fascinating glimpse into local storytelling through art.
