Jeni Cairns, an RHS Gold Medal winning garden designer from Peterborough has been commissioned by Transported in partnership with an extensive group of stakeholders to create art works for the town. The partners working on this project include: Boston Borough Council, Boston in Bloom, Lincolnshire County Council Highways, University of Lincoln, St Botolphs Church and Boston Chamber of Commerce.
The first art work, currently under construction, will be a unique garden created by Jeni Cairns in the St Botolph’s Bridge West Walkway area (near the B&M supermarket).
On Friday 24 July from 10am – 4pm, drop in and join Jeni Cairns for a free workshop in the area between B&M and the footbridge. During the workshop, you can create insect hotels and bird houses for the finished garden and fill raised planters to brighten up the area.
