Joseph Hillier is creating a new public artwork for Spalding town centre as part of Transported’s On Your Doorstep project, in partnership with the Spalding and District Civic Society.
As part of this project, Joseph is looking for sixteen local people to take part in 3D scanning sessions, bringing along something which connects them to Spalding – such as an old photograph or the tools of their trade. Working with Joseph and Assault Events, participants will create a pose and be digitally scanned in 3D to create a 3D print. This will then be cast into bronze to become one of a series of small sculptures for Spalding town centre.
Places are strictly limited and are appointment only. You can book your thirty minute sitting by calling Ayscoughfee Hall on 01775 764555.
