Join Transported Arts at Boston United Community Day!
Looking for the perfect free things to do in Boston Lincolnshire this summer? Transported Arts is thrilled to be part of the vibrant Boston United Community Day! As part of the National Gallery’s Art Road Trip, we are bringing pop-up creative activities directly into the heart of our community, making it easier than ever for everyone to give art a go.
This family friendly celebration is completely free to attend and offers a brilliant day out for all ages. Alongside our creative hub, the wider community day features live music, craft stalls, inflatables, a dog show, and special appearances from local police and fire crews—all while raising vital support for the local Children’s Ward.
Get Creative with Artist Laura Mabbutt there is absolutely no experience needed—just bring your curiosity! Led by the brilliant local artist Laura Mabbutt, this relaxed, drop-in workshop invites you to explore portraiture in a fun, imaginative way.
Using simple drawing and craft materials, you will have the freedom to think outside the box: Who is the person in the portrait? What are they thinking? You can create your own small artwork or a mini 3D scene entirely at your own pace. There is no right or wrong way to take part.
