Boston Ladies Circle 525’s Easter Festival
On April 4th, we’ll be appearing at the Boston Ladies Circle 525’s Easter Festival at Frampton St Mary’s Church with our Art Road Trip activities!
The Easter Festival will have a variety of lovely craft and food stalls, showcasing local talent and produce, in an event aiming to raise funds for the church and the Ladies Circle’s charity pot.
The Art Road Trip project is about removing barriers to cultural participation and reaching people where they are — whether that’s a busy market square, village green, or housing estate, and bringing activities about ”traditional” artwork that is displayed in Lincolnshire’s art galleries but creating a way for everyone, including those who may think they are not very “arty” to respond and engage to the paintings that document our county.

Art Road Trip – Boston & South Holland is funded by the UK Shared Prosperity Fund’s GRASSroots Grants programme with match funding from Arts Council England, in-kind support from The National Gallery (who have donated their touring exhibition system), and the Transported team.
By celebrating what’s special about our area, including the artwork made about Lincolnshire over many centuries, we hope to boost confidence, spark connections, and create lasting pride of place.
Lincolnshire artist Kerry Wint will guide you on how to create a beautiful illustration using biros and watercolours, using a layering technique, to create your own recreation of paintings that can be found in Lincolnshire’s iconic Usher Gallery.
