Art Road Trip: Food-Inspired Art with Laura Mabbutt
Create a Food-Inspired Masterpiece
Join artist Laura Mabbutt and Transported's Art Road Trip programme for a free drop-in creative activity at Feed Your Face-tival.
Taking inspiration from still life food paintings, Laura will guide you to create your own food-inspired artwork that tells a story. Using drawing, clay or collage, you'll explore colour, shape, texture and imagination to create a unique piece inspired by the foods we eat and the memories, traditions and stories connected to them.
Whether you're an experienced maker or trying something creative for the first time, this welcoming activity is designed to be enjoyable for all ages and abilities.
Part of Transported's Art Road Trip
Art Road Trip is Transported's travelling creative programme, bringing hands-on art activities to events and communities across Lincolnshire. Inspired by artworks that document the county's landscapes, people and stories, Art Road Trip encourages everyone to explore creativity in fun, accessible and unexpected places.
Designed for people who may not think of themselves as artistic as well as those who regularly make art, the project creates opportunities to discover new techniques, respond to artworks and enjoy being creative together.
