Create Imaginative Portraits from Everyday Foods

Join artist Dovile Sakalauskaite and Transported's Art Road Trip programme for a free drop-in creative activity at Feed Your Face-tival.

Using seeds, grains and dried foods, you'll create imaginative portraits inspired by the festival's celebration of food and local produce. Experiment with pattern, colour and texture as you transform everyday ingredients into unique faces and characters.

This fun, hands-on activity encourages playful creativity and is suitable for all ages, whether you're making together as a family or exploring your own artistic ideas.

Art Road Trip is Transported's travelling creative programme, bringing art activities to festivals, community events and public spaces across Lincolnshire. Inspired by artworks connected to the county, the project creates opportunities for people of all ages to engage with creativity, discover local stories and enjoy making art together.

Through artist-led activities, participants can experiment with different materials, learn new creative techniques and explore art in welcoming and accessible ways.
